Queen Creek Peach Cobbler

 

~ Mark first prepared this at the annual Peach Festival at the

Schnepf Family Farms in nearby Queen Creek. ~

 

 

2 cups all purpose flour

2 cups brown sugar

½ lb. sweet organic butter

3 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp clove

1 tsp allspice

6-8 ripe peaches

1 tsp cinnamon

 

  • Mix all dry ingredients.

  • Cut in the butter until it is pea-sized. Make sure not to overwork.

  • Slice fruit and toss in with the cinnamon.

  • Place fruit in a brownie tin.

  • Gently press the topping on the peaches.

  • Cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
