Bring your young culinarians to learn from Tarbell’s best!! On Tuesday, July 30th 11am to 3pm.
One of our exceptional chefs trained by Mark Tarbell himself,
will be teaching your kids how to cook dinner and dessert – start to finish for just $89 per student!

We’re cooking:
Handmade Gnocchi with Basil Pesto
and
Freshly Baked Profiteroles with Chocolate Ganache

This class is offered for students age 8 to 13 years old. Limited seats available!

*Please read the Participation Agreement for the class and fill out the student and guardian information below. Upon completion, a purchase link will be provided.

Tars Cooking Class Participation Agreement

This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Tarbell’s Companies ("Company") and the participant ("Participant"). If the Participant is a minor, this Agreement is entered into by the Participant's parent or legal guardian.

Requirements & Standards

  1. Cancellation and Refunds

    • NO REFUNDS will be given in the event of a cancellation. You may send someone in your place to attend the class you’ve purchased; please notify us of that change at least 24 hours prior to the class start time. Please email maizy@tarbells.com with any student changes.

  2. Allergy and Sensitivity Notice

    • Our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food, or other sensitivities that you may have.

  3. Food Take-Home Policy

    • Students may take home the food they prepared. Take out containers will be provided.

  4. Safety and Dress Code

    • We strive to create a safe place to cook, but handling kitchen equipment, tools, and hot items can be risky. You must dress appropriately for your own safety and for the safety of the other participants. We may not allow you to participate in a class or program if you are not appropriately attired.

      • We strongly recommend that you wear closed-toe shoes with slip-resistant soles. We will not be responsible if you get hurt or slip and fall because you are wearing inappropriate footwear.

      • We also strongly recommend that you do not wear shorts or loose clothing and, if you have long hair, please tie it back.

      • Students will be provided with an apron that they will take home.

  5. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy

    • Tars Cooking Class is DROP OFF ONLY. Sorry, no parents allowed!

    • Please drop off and pick up your children in a timely manner.

  6. Dietary Restrictions

    • While every attempt is made for dietary friendly menus, we cannot accommodate all dietary restrictions; please review the class menu before enrolling your child or give us a call to discuss any concerns you might have.

  7. Behavior Policy

    • If a student behaves in a troubling and disruptive manner, we reserve the right to contact their parent/guardian to pick up their child and remove them from the cooking session.

Liability Policy

  1. Acknowledgment of Risks

    • In consideration of participating in Tarbell’s Programs, you acknowledge and understand the dangers and risks inherent in such activities related to preparing food, consuming certain foods, and working with tools and appliances.

  2. Waiver and Release

    • By signing yourself or others up for this class, you hereby waive, release, and discharge Tarbell’s Companies, its instructors, employees, and volunteers against any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for costs, expenses, or damages to personal property or personal injury, or death, which may result from your participation in these activities.

  3. Dispute Resolution

    • In the event of any lawsuit, the parties agree to submit any dispute for resolution by arbitration through The Maricopa County Dispute Resolution Services of the Maricopa County Bar Association and any award rendered, if any, shall be final and conclusive to the parties.

  4. Assumption of Responsibility

    • You assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from your participation in this program, including responsibility for using reasonable judgment in all phases of participation in the program.

  5. Acknowledgment of Risk

    • You acknowledge that your participation is solely at your own risk, and that you assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages.

  6. Emergency Medical Information

    • You understand that it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate person in the workplace or event host(s) of emergency medical information and have informed the instructor of ANY food allergies or dietary restrictions for your child or yourself.

  7. Binding Agreement

    • You also understand that this Waiver of Liability and Release binds your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns as well as yourself.
